A Hindu Goddess of knowledge and the creative arts, Saraswati is often the main muse for Indian artists. She is depicted riding on a peacock while draped in white, and holding a palm leaf and scroll for knowledge as she plays music on a veena.
In the yoga teachings Saraswati is known as the Sushumna channel through which the Kundalini may travel upwards, as well as descend. This central and neutral channel allows the Kundalini energy to flow upwards, linking the chakras and bringing liberation.
One may call upon Saraswati for flashes of insight and the instinctual knowledge that is beyond words. She is the free-flowing energy that lives within all of us, waiting to be tapped into.

Mandala, meaning circle in Sanskrit, symbolizes unity and harmony. With each creation being individual and unique their meanings too will vary. The mandala allows us to slink into mediation while serving as a tool on our spiritual journey.
